I was so surprised by this movie because I actually like it a lot! 

When it was suggested to me I was very doubtful, because its from so long ago I expected it to be slow and with simple story telling.

Can't wait to see the next one!

Hello there Dasha, i know this is one of your older posts, but i figured, what the heck, in commemoration to the 45th anniversary for when this film released in theaters in 1977, wht better way to rewatch the film then by seeing your full reaction on here. Im sure by now you are already a starwars fan having been introduced to the franchise and seeing ll the other films and TV shows. But let's take a step back to fully grasp the importance of all of this for a moment. To think that its already been 45, 45 years!!! since this film was released in theaters. i wouldn't be born for another 20 years or so, but i have older relatives that have experienced it in theaters, and to think that in the 45 years since this film released it would go one to be a major phenomena that has left a great mark in our society as well as pop culture today. But considering aall the difficulties George Lucas and his movie developers had in the production of this film, with issues over movie companies, the cast, the release schedule, the set up and so much more, its quite possible tht this film would not have been made or even successful thus we coulve been living in a world without starwars. fortunately for the world it was a major success when it hit theaters 45 years ago, and to think that this franchise would go one to become a successful franchise in pop culture today with all the new movies, shows, merchandise, iconic phrases we use and even the creation of star wars day (may the fourth) Star Wars is a phenomena that is here to stay and will not fade any time soon for generations to come, and to think that it started 45 years ago with this film- A new hope. I highly recommend you check out the original 1977 footage that was released in theaters though, it is very different to the revisional 1997 version we see on Disney + today. also im not sure if you've seen the clone wars series (the 3D one) but i highly recommend it as it takes place between episodes 2-3 and gives more information with good action and stuff. Also i hope we get to see your reactions of Book of boba Fett and the new Obi wan series coming soon. May the force be with you.
