I thought maybe the product companies themselves would solicit each production or the studios to gauge interest. For period productions, I've heard somewhere before that there are specialty outfits that have collections of older products like perhaps canned beverages with pull tab lids instead of the modern integrated pop-top tabs that stay with the can or old branded cartons of cigarettes like the ones they used in Netflix's "The Queen's Gambit" and "The Shawshank Redemption". I found it interesting about your observation about the Southern Dad thing about the open mouth deal - never noticed it before but will for sure look for it in this show and others. That's funny stuff, and part of the cultural heritage and diversity that is great about this country. As for "Chad Powers" itself, I think the show is hilarious whenever Chad's persona tries to improvise a response in an uncomfortable situation. It's like he just grabs a random thought or phrase out of someone else's mind from somewhere else in the world and it just comes out of his mouth. I think the strong points of this show about second chances are the relationships - between Chad and both coaches, Ricky and Jake Hudson, between Chad and his friend/roomie Danny (the mascot), between Coach and Tricia, and between Ricky and her dad (Coach).
