Do you happen to remember the first movie you ever saw? Or the first movie you remember seeing? If not a specific movie, maybe your first or otherwise notable theater experience? I remember going to Blockbuster with my dad to pick out a movie to rent when I was only maybe 4 or 5 years old. We wandered the aisles for a bit and then I remember him taking "Star Wars" off the shelf and suggesting that I might like it. Turns out he was right! It must have made an impression because I have been a huge fan ever since! (Although another one of my earliest memories is having nightmare about Darth Vader chasing me. Haha! 😅) It's funny looking back because I now know that my dad isn't particularly a sci-fi fan like I have become, and we don't generally share the same taste or level of interest in movies. He just genuinely thought I would enjoy it so we watched it together. It has become a sweet memory to me. 😊 He also took me to see Jurassic Park 2 when I was probably too young for it, but that is a story for another day.
