2025-01-21 20:29:32 +0000 UTCI voted Notting Hill. My second choice is Sleepless in Seattle. I couldn't remember The Princess Bride enough to vote for it, but gets stunning reviews and I hear it mentioned -- looking forward to watching The Princess Bride with your reaction. Cary Elwes (probably most known for The Princess Bride?) is excellent in "Glory" (1989) with Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, and Morgan Freeman. I looked at your Letterboxd. My No. 1 movie on your watchlist is: Schindler’s List (1993) [Spielberg] Won 7 Oscars including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Score. Nominees: Best Actor (Liam Neeson), Best Supporting Actor (Ralph Fiennes). AFI Top 100. Based on true story.

2025-01-21 18:44:20 +0000 UTCAll great choices! My vote goes to Notting Hill, one of my favorite rom-coms, and one that is infrequently reacted to. [Edit:] Also, thanks for doing this! Many reactors won't even consider rom-coms out of fear that they won't appeal to their main demographics. I enjoy the variety! 👍

2025-01-21 17:43:13 +0000 UTCHappy Tuesday, Camilla. All are good choices but my vote belongs to The Princess Bride (1987). My second vote would be for When Harry Met Sally (1989), also directed by Rob Reiner.
