The writer
Added 2021-03-02 20:58:47 +0000 UTCI am hard at work on the next update, as you have probably guessed. This means that I am adding a bunch of new story to the game and i ra into a problem during this process.
You see, My main character is kinda without a clear motivation.
I realised that he has some general motivation (he wants to go exploring), but none that is particularly concrete. So, in this next update I introduce the concept of "the book".
You see, our protagonist is a writer and throughout the game he will be taking notes on everything that happens.
All of this is in service to a book that he is writing, one that will have his entire adventure spelled out in it.
"The book" is so important in fact, that it has become part of the GUI for the entire game.
This new component will be part of the game starting next update, but I seriously cannot wait to share this thing with you.
