Acolytes vers. 0.2

Hey Guys.

For those of you who have come here for the most recent release of "Acolytes of the Chrystal", this is it. Version 0.2 is the very first version where you get into the meat of the story, so if the first version piqued your interest, then this will clench your thirst (Mixing metaphors, we love it).

Story:

The story really starts in this version of the game, where we finally learn what happened after the events of the ruin of Kathartra. You''ll finally learn what exactly is happening and who was behind all of the weird things that happened during the first version of the game. This is also where you'll get to know a bunch of new characters and finally get to know the entire world of "Acolytes of the crystal", so I can't wait for you to play it.

New characters:

Crevan:

Crevan is the head of security at the "Academy of the Chrystal", he is in charge of overseeing the portal and everything that happens with it. He is also of the Pels people, which means that he is referred to as Dogman throughout most of the game.

Chance:

Chance is a spritely little guy, with purple skin and pointy ears. He is a student at "the Academy of the Chrystal" where he is trying to master his ability to see into the future. It is not going well.

Charta:

Charta is the librarian at "the Academy of the Chrystal" and is the most important person at the school, by his own estimates.

Dux:

Dux is the headmaster of "the Academy of the crystal" who is the person you'll be spending the most time with. He can be somewhat infuriating since he never gives a straight answer, but he means well.

Programming:

This update introduces a couple of new pieces of interaction: New outfits, numbered lock, and a world map. These are all parts of building up the world and making the game more immersive. of the three, I'm probably most proud of the fact that the player now gets to pick the outfit that the protagonist wears at any time during the game.
