I had a pretty strong idea what I wanted to do with it from the get go, so sketching it out went pretty fast. I ran into trouble when doing the line art though because there were some mistakes in the sketch that I didn't account for. The end result was I had to throw out pretty much a whole day of work, which sucks in the moment but ultimately was probably for the best because this turned out much better than the original.
