Bluesky and Mastodon
Added 2024-12-03 16:34:25 +0000 UTCI’m a little late posting this around, but I migrated away from Twitter/X a few months ago. Previously, I was keeping all three sites going, but I reached the conclusion I was done with Twitter back in September. Since then, I’ve only reposted two posts where people tagged me about my books, and I’m disinclined to spend more time on there.
I have been enjoying my time on Bluesky (@nighteyes.bsky.social), and Mastodon (@nighteyes@meow.social). They have different cultures, but it’s been generally a much nicer experience for me. I finally locked my Twitter/X account last month, but I haven’t deleted it yet. I loath removing it because I spent so much time there, and it has interactions I had with friends who are now gone. However, I don’t see ever going back to actively using Twitter/X, so for now it will live in limbo until I finally get the urge up to scrub it completely away.
