Website Rebuild, Access To Lessons & Tabs - Update

Hey all

For those of you who are unaware, I've recently been dealing with some legal issues to do with the tabs. I can no longer give them out for free on my website or here on Patreon. I must sell them in order so that I can pay royalties to the copyright holders. I have also had to remove all lessons from YouTube which contain tabs and temporarily take down my website.

My patreon Page has also been targetted by publishers issuing takedown notices. I have been in violation of Patreon guidelines. Patreon are warning me that if it happens again my account will be suspended.

Most of my content is unavialable right now, I must take everything down to be safe. This means that all the old patreon posts will be deleted. However, I am rebuilding...

What I'm doing about the video lessons -

The video lessons are being re-edited and reuploaded without tabs on screen, there are already a number of videos ready. I have created a spreadsheet for you guys where you will find links to the new videos. You can find the spreadsheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lyA7ekZnTJ-qs2ZEVyTXvW1KQ3HxHvTClIUa3mlIg2o/edit#gid=0

Please remember that this is a work in progress. More lessons will be added daily as they're edited and uploaded. I will then use this to populate my new website once it's built.

Also, If you find that any of the links are wrong, please let me know below.

About the Guitar Tabs -

This also means that I must remove all the patreon posts which include tabs. I also can't continue to give tabs to the patrons or I will be risking my account being suspended. I am currently negotiating with the publishing companies to strike a deal which will let me continue to give tabs to my Patreon supporters. But this is a difficult task and is a work in progress. So please bare with me. If you have any specific questions about any tabs, please send me a private message here. I may be able to help you, no promises though, I'm so busy i'm working all hours to get everything fixed.

As always thank you for your support and I'm hoping that everything will be back to normal soon. In the meantime please leave your requests below. It's difficult finding motivation to pick up my guitar right now, I'm hoping your requests will give me that.

Thanks all

Gareth

Sorry to hear about it . You are inspiration . You have our support .

謝謝你的教學.我很願意支付這份學費

Genuinely sucks what's happened to you. Hope things work themselves out soon. Also dw about losing supporters if you need to take time off. We'll be right here waiting. Get it? Cause your last cover was Right Here Waiting? I'll see myseslf out.

I've been following you for years now and you had so many good ideas how to improve your video lessons over time. One of them beeing definitely the tabs playing along on the screen. It is so sad that you are now forced to remove the tabs again just because the music industry is so greedy and relentless. Anyway, hang in there Gareth and don't let them put you down. You will come up with a good solution for everyone, no doubts here. I totally understand that this whole issue including the complete rebuild is very tedious, so take all the time you need to finish and recover from it. If you are searching for new challenges you could think of making an arrangement of 'Sound of Silence' by Simon&Garfunkel. Wish you all the best and much endurance in the upcoming weeks!

Play your part and the universe will provide...don't give up it just takes time and you'll put it all dwn to a learning experience...(i personally think its just pathetic petty BS what they've done to ..you)...hang in there gareth do what you need to do but remember to be there for your family (wife&kids).. show them how to stand up and get through adversities like this... YOU CAN SUCCEED REGARDLESS!!$

Very sorry to hear about all your struggles Gareth. Do keep up the good work. Your lessons and tabs are much appreciated. If needed you could work with a membership model in which people (former patreons) pay a yearly fee and get (un)limited access to lessons and tabs. So if it does not work you can stop the free model. No problem for me.

Hang in there dude. I'll stick around, anyway.
