So it's been a big two weeks and I wanted to provide a quick update on how things are going!

Man, what a great game. Just...wonderful. I loved it so much. It's beautifully constructed, functional, the perfect length, microtransaction-free and just so damn wholesome. Given how disappointing AAA gaming is these days, seeing this gives me legit feels and I couldn't be happier for Obsidian FINALLY getting an uncomplicated smash hit out the door.
If you want get your hands on it really cheap, remember that it's available on Xbox GamePass. Crazy good value.
Fallout 76
I honestly don't have the energy to discuss this here. The destruction of Bethesda's brand and reputation honestly feels like some sort of mocumentary pitch. Either way, I'm covering it all on Laymen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoACRHhbtvE

Death Stranding
Yes, I am currently playing Death Stranding! No, I cannot tell you anything about it at all otherwise Sony will delete me IRL. I will have a review up for it at 12:01 AM PST on Nov 1st. I expect this will be a lot of facecam + trailer stuff (similar to my God of War review) since spoiling even small parts of this game ruins it. I may come back to it for a spoiler review in future. Interestingly, the Laymen are planning a cross-over vid with YongYea to discuss it a week after it's out :P
Streams?
Yeah it's hard right now since I'm reviewing stuff under embargo, but I'll definitely be streaming some FFXIV next week when the patch releases. Can't wait. The FFXIV review is planned for Dec btw.
