Just a quick note to let you know that I'm not the only one making this sort of transition to Patreon. Many other creators are facing the same challenges as I, and noticing this Forbes reached out to me to ask what drove the decision.
If you're interested to learn more about how YouTube's approach to monetisation is pushing people off the platform, the article is a really great write- up.
If you have other content creators that you really respect and value, think about supporting them as well. I currently support Th3Jez (https://www.youtube.com/user/Th3Jez) and NoClip (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0fDG3byEcMtbOqPMymDNbw) since they produce some outstanding stuff, and I'm always very happy to throw a few bucks their way.

I'm a huge fan of Destiny. Question, do you think on a Destiny channel, they would allow Destiny content with weapons considering the game dedicated channel? I just don't see how they could kill gaming videos like this.
