Rough Day.

She tried breathing techniques, meditation, anything to slow her pulse, but it wasn’t helping. Ever since she microwaved that baked potato with the foil still on and got zapped, stress hit different. Anxiety didn’t just sit in her chest anymore. It stole inches.
With a big presentation less than two hours away, the pressure was already crushing. “Get it together. You’ve got this. You have this,” she muttered, hands pressed to her head. “Come on. Grow. GROW!” She watched the coffee cup climb higher, rising above her like a skyscraper as the desk stretched wider beneath her feet. She let out a sharp sigh. “I so don’t have time for this.”
