Dahlia lounged on the floor of the apartment, stretching her long legs out as she pored over the ancient Wonderland scrolls. The parchment was delicate under her fingertips; its faded ink looping in hypnotic swirls that whispered secrets of Size Magic just begging to be tested!
"Alright...," she murmured, tapping her lip with a painted nail. "This one looks like it’s about… shrinking?"
Across from her, her study partner watched with interest. She smirked—they had always fascinated her, and if there was ever a way to grab their attention, it was through a little size play.
Tracing a finger along the faded text, she mused aloud, "Looks like it’s for enchanting water. Turn any drink into a shrinking potion with a single spell. Hmm…" Her eyes flicked toward the open can of Mountain Dew beside them. "Wanna test it?"
They raised an eyebrow. "I dunno. You sure it’s safe?"
She waved them off. "Only one way to find out!" she teased.
With a playful lilt in her voice, she read the incantation:
"Small as a sip, light as the breeze, dwindle down tiny, just as you please!"
A golden swirl of magic shimmered in the air, curling around the can like a coiling ribbon before sinking into the liquid with a faint fizz. She picked it up, peering at it curiously. "Huh. Smells normal."
She took a sip.
For a second, nothing happened. Then—
Hic!
A warm tingle rippled through her. She gasped, her breath catching as she felt her body shrink ever so slightly. Her T-shirt loosened around her, the collar dipping just a little lower. Across from her, her study partner sat up straighter.
"You okay?" they asked, their gaze flicking over her.
She blinked, a shiver of excitement coursing through her. "I… I think—"
Hic!
Another inch lost. A breathy giggle bubbled from her lips as the sensation rolled through her again, her sleeves slipping further over her wrists.
"Oh," she purred, looking down at herself. "I think it's working."
Their eyes widened. "Dahlia, you’re shrinking pretty fast!"
She swirled the can in her hand, a delicious thrill dancing along her spine. "Mmm, guess I should pace myself, huh?"
Then, with deliberate mischief, she took another sip.
Hic!
This time, the shrinking sped up. Her clothes sagged against her, her leggings beginning to bunch around her knees. She stretched her arms, letting the oversized fabric drape from her dwindling frame. "Oh no," she teased, shooting them a playful pout. "I'm getting so small!"
"You did this on purpose!" they accused, though their intrigued stare never wavered.
She giggled, pressing the can against her lips once more. "Maaaybe—hic!"
She lost another few inches, her T-shirt slipping off one shoulder completely. She wriggled inside it, her now-loose bra strap sliding down her arm.
They leaned in closer, clearing their throat. "You, uh… might want to stop drinking that."
She smirked. "And miss out on all the fun?" She took a longer sip, licking a stray drop from her lips.
The magic hit her all at once.
Hic! Hic! Hic!
Her body shuddered with each tiny convulsion, sending her spiraling smaller. She squeaked as the waistband of her leggings slipped past her hips, pooling around her thighs before sliding completely off. Her baggy shirt collapsed around her like a tent, swallowing her arms, her neckline slipping lower and lower until she tumbled into the oversized fabric with a muffled laugh.
"Oops!" she piped up from within the pile. "I think I’m a little stuck..."
She felt them hesitate before peeling back the T-shirt, revealing her bare, shrunken legs poking out from the folds. She wiggled free, now barely four inches tall, wrapping her arms around herself in mock shyness, though her teasing grin never faded.
"You should’ve seen your face just now," she giggled, looking up at them from the mess of discarded clothes. "You're totally into this, aren’t you?"
They coughed. "I mean, it’s… fascinating."
"Mhmm," she hummed knowingly. Then, with a wicked glint in her eye, she stretched out in their palm, sprawling out lazily.
Their fingers curled slightly around her, the subtle grip making her tremble.
"Well," she purred, letting her miniature legs dangle over the edge of their fingers, "I guess now we figure out what to do with me, huh?"
Dahlia came up with most of this story. Thanks, Dahlia!
