Simon y Demetrio 2 (s5)

--------

It's 4 am, and Demetrio gets up ready to start his work, when he realizes that the badly injured dragon is not next to him, he looks around until he finds something moving in the shadows.

"What are you doing? I warned you that if you moved you could open your wounds and get worse" says the old bull.

"I'm going to see my family, I have to see that they are okay," Simón responds with a tired voice.

"Understand that you won't get anywhere like that, now go back to bed" the old bull responds, as he gets out of bed.

Suddenly in front of him, the trembling tip of a machete is raised, "You better not come near me if you don't want me to slice you with this."

The old bull looks at the trembling tip of the machete in front of him and then looks indifferently at the barely visible face of that dragon.

The bull sighs, "Stupid brat," he says and then hits the machete with his hand and makes it fall to the ground a little away from both of them.

Simón raises his fists, placing himself in a defensive position, waiting for the old bull's attack.

The annoyed old man looks at the boy in front of him, clicks his tongue, "screw it" he says and sits down on the bed.

"My name is Demetrio and I am a friend of your Father and this old pigsty is my house, well it is your father's but... the important thing here is that I am here to take care of you, boy," says Demetrio.

"But how come... what happened?" Simón says as he staggers about to fall, but the old bull reacts quickly and catches him just in time, to lay him back on the bed.

"Dad knows?" Simón asks while a tear of shame and shame falls down his cheek.

"If you mean what you did with your nephew, yes, only he, Acadio, Noe, you, and I know, well as long as Noe doesn't tell anyone and Acadio keeps his word" the bull responds while taking the pants to Simón.

"What happened? How did my dad find out about this? Why did Acadio forgive me after what I did? Why? Why?" Simón asks as he places his hands on his face.

"Did Acadio forgive you? What are you talking about? When he knew you were alive, he came to try to finish you off. If it weren't for your old man and me, you would already be three meters under the ground, boy," Demetrius responded while cleaning some wounds that had been opened.

"You know, you're very lucky, son. Your dad and I were returning from a party when we saw the Acadian, all covered in blood, carrying his son. He yelled at your father about what you had done with him there in the field. At first, your dad was shocked. He refused to believe him, but when he smelled your aroma on the boy's body his doubts dissipated. Your father begged Acadio to tell him where he had left your body so he could bury you and not let someone go and skin you. The guy didn't want to tell him anything. and he even threatened to tell the whole town what you had done, but Heusebius replied that doing so would ruin Noah's life as well and that this should never be known, upset because he knew that your father was right. Akkadius blamed him. On top of that, your father was angry, and what a bad thing he did, my son, I almost killed the unfortunate man, and right there with blows I made him tell us where he had left you, then I let him go all battered to his house, and then we found you in the countryside, you were barely breathing, I didn't think you were going to live, but your dad did everything to make you feel better."

"He should have let me die," Simón responded through tears.

A strong blow to the head made him scream in pain, "Don't say stupid things, after all, your father tried to save you," the bull said angrily while he showed off the bandage on Simón's leg.

"Then the days passed and that asshole, this Acadio, came in here when your dad was healing you, and with Machete in hand he started trying to finish you off, but as it turns out he didn't achieve anything, after another beating the guy left, but I threatened your father that if I ever saw you back in town I would tell everyone what you did, and then they would lynch you, your father and me, after that the guy never came back here, but neither did you. "You can go back to town."

"Now rest, your father will come to see you in a few hours, I have to go work the land," said Demetrio, putting on his pants, and then leaving the place.

Hours later Heusebio would arrive, and he would speak with Simón, who begged for forgiveness, while he hugged his father.
