"The right size?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, I meant in focus," he corrected, realizing his slip of intentions. It wouldn't matter soon. He grinned, setting the target size to 5.5 inches – the perfect height for his new figure.
"How many photos do you think we'll have from this photoshoot? I need enough for a decent photoset," she asked, oblivious to the photographer's intentions. He seemed to have good reviews, and she needed content for her socials.
"Don't worry. We'll take tons of photos," he assured, pressing the activate button. Moments later, a bright flash emanated from his phone. She winced at the sudden intense flash. "Whoa, hey, a little warning next time." When she opened her eyes, everything was pink – she was pink. Glowing pink! And... shrinking?
"What... what's happening to me?" she said, completely in shock. Her entire body buzzed, glowing a pink hue as she dwindled. Her surroundings grew larger and larger around her, giving her a sense of vertigo.
"You're shrinking! I wanted to replace some of my Marvel figures, and I found this iShrink app! I saw your ad for a photographer and thought you'd make the perfect Spider-Gwen for my collection."
"No, no, no! This can't be happening! You can't do this!" she pleaded, her body reaching half her original height. He was now a giant to her, and everything seemed colossal. She was still getting smaller.
"Don't worry, I'm very careful with my toys. I mostly just pose them and take photos. You'll love it," he reassured. "Please, you have to make me big again! I'm not a toy!" she screamed, her body dwindling past 12 inches tall. She turned to the door, but to her horror, the knob was stories above her diminishing reach.
"You're the first of a whole new collection. Do you have any friends who cosplay Black Widow?" he said as the tiny cosplayer finished shrinking at his feet. She now stood the size of an action figure, looking up at a colossus. A colossus who was reaching down to pick her up.
