Long time no see, this is Akagi.
My deepest apologies for being gone for one year even though the manuscript for Incubus Banishment volume 3 was already there.
The cause of that too was just as I hinted briefly at the afterword of second volume, an extremely troublesome and unbelievable illness that I got. It’s an incurable disease with dementia-like symptoms that appear due to volatile substance (mundane smell) that shouldn’t have any toxicity at all, so my life foundation became messed up. When the symptom is serious, I would forget a path that I had routinely walked for years, I would fall asleep completely when sniffing the smell of incense so I couldn’t even attend my father’s funeral, etc. Anyway my situation became a bit unbelievable. This disease was also more or less listed in government’s homepage, but there wasn’t any government support for it and there were only several hospitals in this whole country where I could ask for consultation about it. I had to research how to deal with this disease all by myself. Far from writing novel, my days were filled with fumbling around searching for ways to continue living.
Furthermore when I finally got better and I thought I’ll be able to do various works again, my mother used powerful insecticide for outdoor use inside the room in my family home that became my place of refuge. My safety zone was annihilated. My mother herself started showing similar symptom with me and became unable to live in her own home, so our whole family ended up scattering. That kind of awful troubles were continuing……. There was also when we bought a large fan to ventilate the insecticide, the oil got stuck and sprayed all over the house. Its smell was even worse than insecticide and worsened my health persistently. That kind of situation that made me wondered if I’m cursed was continuing.
Well, even with all those happening I managed to publish two works at the same time this month but, this too was because I was able to do some writing when I was doing well before the insecticide incident happened so, I don’t know what to say, my health is just too unstable that it’s hard to give an accurate schedule…….
And that’s why my various series are getting delayed, but it’s not because of my dying motivation toward my work, but due to the problems that are beyond my help. I think that I won’t do anything like stopping my series as long as I’m alive, so please don’t worry about that (No, well, it’ll also depends on the sales and the like though!).

And so from here is the thanks section. To my editor who responded speedily to publish two volumes simultaneously and other things despite my various troublesome situations. Thanks to his various considerations, I was able to publish my books too this time. I’m truly grateful.
And to kakao-sama for drawing moeeeeeeee illustrations and characters this time too. I’m truly grateful that every time you’re creating numerous wonderful designs and illustrations that surpassed my imagination. I’m greatly looking forward for more in the future too……!
Well then, I’m praying that we’ll be able to meet a bit faster next time……let’s meet again in the next volume.
