"That's tough" is literally the theme of Daiya no Ace and the reason it just tops everything for me. Its not just about sports its about the emotions, developments, failures, and camaraderie that makes this anime so freaking POWERFUL

The Zaizen parallel, Furuyas attitude, Chris’ final moments in a high school game, Coach’s heart, and the teams reaction to Chris not being in the first string… Time for Daiya to really begin!

The OST that comes on at times like these is just perfect. Ace of diamond sure knows how to bring out the feels and that's why it is my favourite sports anime it has everything. To think we are really only at the training arc lmao
