I was on my dream vacation!

Hey everyone! Here's to another month on Patreon. Thank you again for everyone's support.

In late September, I went on my first solo trip to Orlando, as it seemed like a pretty safe bet for a first time. First time organizing everything from my flights, lodging, itinerary, to a rental car. My family wanted me to get a rental car instead of using Uber with strangers. It turns out that it was the same-ish cost, and I got a lot more freedom.

I did Universal Studios for the first time, then Hollywood Studios for the first time, then I hit up Magic Kingdom for my 3rd time. I had an absolute blast. After the turbulent and heartbreaking start of the year with cancer & death, some magical rejuvenation really helped.

Hurricane Helene only put a minor dent in my plans. I had bought a ticket for Magic Kingdom's special Halloween event - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but it was canceled for everyone's safety. I'm not too bummed. They refunded our party tickets and extended park hours from 6pm to 8pm! I had a general day ticket that I used, so I enjoyed the park for the entire day. I rode all of my favorites, sometimes twice! The lines were incredibly short. The only things that got in my way were a strong downpour and mild gusty winds.

Otherwise, I had such an incredible time, I feel like I'm done with excitement and thrills of that magnitude for a long time.
