Introducing Maxine

Today I'm introducing another main character of AOTS. She's the 2nd to last character to introduce, then I'll be in full story and game making mode for a bit.
Meet Maxine! Maxine is Grant's husband and your stepmother. You've never met her before the story starts. She's your age, and just as shocked at your existence as you are at hers.
Maxine is freakishly tall and has an inhuman appetite to match. You really don't understand what she sees in Grant... It's probably his money. Maxine doesn't seem romantically interested in Grant at all and she seems to tolerate him at best, avoiding him when she can.
She acts the opposite around you. She's pushy, demands your attention, and interrupts others to push them away from you. Sure, she's married to the owner of the ship and can do anything she wants, but is her behavior from trying to get to know you better, or is something else going on?
