y’all im getting back to this again now i understand why V said “I hope theres come a chance to show not just my music to the world , I’ve wanted to show the things that are inside me for a long time now, at some point having these thoughts started to feel wrong” i feel like some of these thing is abt him and Jennie situation ! y’all they’re basically confirmed and Armys And Blinks killing each other on twitter so they’re just keeping it to themselves ig :( i hope they get the support of their respective fans so they’ll feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts and btw im Happy for them Couple Goals ♥ let jus be all happy like what RM said in the end of this vid. “Be happy without thinking about the rules of the world”

But all they do is make me proud!!! like literally everything. and they are the most emotionally mature people I have ever known. I know it was a scary and hard announcement for them to make (even though it's literally just a hiatus of sorts) but now they did it and know ARMY isn't going to go anywhere. I just want to give them each a hug. Honestly at this point they need zero permission from ARMY to do anything and despite anything they could do ARMY would continue to exist and be a force to recon with without any aid from the boys

2022-07-18 20:03:48 +0000 UTCBangtan is a unique case because they had to carry promotions and the responsibilities that comes from both the kpop and the western industries. They started literally, running from 2013 (and before as trainies) and it wasn't possible to really pause at some point, because they kept getting bigger and bigger. If you think about it most, if all groups, even younger than them have solo promotions for the members and long pauses between releases. The fact that bts felt so guilty and pressured about doing it made me really sad. They honestly could have done it without tell us nothing and we all will be happy for the new albums/promo/whatever, but they wanted to tell us how they felt and i appreciate that 💜. About the media distorting their words, isn't something new or surprising. The time that they went an one month vacation, big hit made an announcement saying just that. It was very well written and in english, still the media wrote nonsense. As far as korean media, armys especially older fans like myself lol, know that they never had them in their favour anyway. Even now that them and their company is huge, it is what it is i guess.

It's very normal in the K-POP industry for groups to take breaks for member to go to the military, pursue solo projects in music or acting. Perform as sub-units or even supper groups that combine members of different groups under the same label. And then they comeback together. I don't even think it's the mistranslation of the word hiatus that it's at fault for all the controversy, it's more the definition of hiatus that differs a lot. The western music industry perceives hiatus' as a way of breaking up without having to say it and that's what created this mess. BTS could have easily let the company issue a brief and to the point statement devoid of any emotion and let that be that but instead they decided to sit down and be honest with ARMY. That's unheard of in the K-pop industry. The level of sincerity BTS brings to the table is unmatched and I wouldn't wanted any other way. If anything I wish they could have talked about their plans sooner. J-hope has an album ready for release next month and he's performing in Lollapalooza Chicago as a solo artist for the first time so they've been working on this for a while. In hindsight they probably made the decision late last year. Individual Instagram accounts probably come about thinking of this step. So, my point is, they've known about this for a long time and had to live with it, perform shows and promote this album having this huge thing to share and feeling guilty about not being able to do so. I wish they could have done it sooner so that they could have enjoyed all of these things in full and also so that ARMY could have more time to process it and enjoy this album better as well. It feels sudden when it didn't needed to be. Anyway, thanks for the reaction guys.

True ARMYS have an emotional connection with BTS and wouldn't see their need to develop as people as a bad or negative thing. Its perfectly normal to feel sad that they feel guilty about their need to be individuals. I am glad this need hasn't been demeaned like how people are over sensationalizing this on media. It's sad how they are reducing the pain the members feel to something overexaggerated like disbandment. But ARMY'S love for them will always prevail. While the media may use them and hurt them for views we know their hearts. I believe we can trust in them and should still support their future endeavors no matter what. AFO BANGFO!

2022-06-17 05:00:34 +0000 UTCalso! hybe confirmed that they'll still be doing group schedules and stuff but this will be a time of rest and relaxation and exploration and fun for them. new run bts episodes and solo albums soon!! most likely by next year's festa we'll have new group music but even if we don't, i'll be content knowing that they're doing what's best for them and that they'll return one day soon
