Impressions: Wall Signs, Awnings and Fake Brands

Are there more important things to work on? Most likely. Did I get tired of looking at the same city, day in and day out? Definitely.
So...
Let The Decorating Begin
"This is not even my final form."
Yippie! Now I have a whole selection of new details I can decorate the city with! This will allow me to give the city a bit more variance and visual diversity. And by that I mean "50% of all buildings will be hotels, whoops."

Fun fact: "Corporate design" was part of my studies, back at university. Not that you would have been able to tell from these masterpieces of branding:

Second fun fact: Puns and wordplay were not part of my studies—so they are even worse.

All joking aside, this was quite a lot of work and I'm really happy I was able to rush through it in (roughly) a week – much faster than I initially estimated!
I still need to tweak a few things before everything looks and works the way I want it to: That's also why there's no video yet, I'm afraid!
By the end of this week, that'll be taken care of and all I still need to do then is... Well, go through the city and add details as needed. That's a bunch of busy work, believe me!

I'm thinking about making July the "work on details and low-priority stuff"-month.
There's definitely a few more things I want to see in the city, i.e. trees, bus stops, benches, etc. – all of which are not necessary or high-priority by any stretch. But I feel like now is a good time to get some of these done, before I continue focusing on a lot of the boring (but important) stuff. So let's see how it goes!
