The day of First Contact started like any other. News of the event leaked slowly at first, then spread across the Earth like wildfire. The world ground to a halt. Students stopped going to classes, people stopped showing up to work, the governments and scientists of the world scrambled to find answers.
We were united in awe. The United Nations held emergency sessions which never seemed to end, scrambling to find answers to our questions. What was the alien? What did the alien want? Was anything going to be the same again?
Spooky Action at a Distance is a single player tabletop role playing game about humanity’s first contact with alien life. You create a character, called the envoy, who will attempt to interact with the alien. You’ll write about First Contact, what the envoy discovers about the alien, and define the alien as you play.
