New textures and lighting

Before the release of version 0.3a, I was already doing some testing with light and shadow effects. But as you may have noticed, the textures I possessed did not respond very well.
Some images, especially in low light scenes, got horrible glitches.
I went to research, to apply textures that served better because I did not want to regress to what was before. I always try to improve the quality of the game. I'm learning while I'm producing.
With that, I was able to find in a handy post of "Metagraphy" (visit his page, worth a lot) and installed it on my PC.
The first results are amazing, as you can see in the example below. But now the question is: Should I redo all the game images with these new textures, increasing overall quality, or should I go ahead with the plot and use them only from now on?
I'm tending to redo the images because I want the game to go without fail, and I was not satisfied with the night scenes of the last release.
What do you think?
