Update and Exclusive Patron-Only Livestream (Wednesday March 9th)

Greetings, fellow drinkers! It's been a while since I did a proper update post, so here it is. Things are going pretty damn good with both the main channel, and After Hours. I really feel like I've been able to hit that sweet spot of critiquing new film and TV releases, producing more editorial-style content where I break down general issues and concepts in filmmaking, and retrospectives on older films that people may not have seen yet.

You may have noticed that I've also been pretty active with livestreaming recently, partly because I've been doing a little more gaming content (something I very much enjoy), and partly because I now have the chance to do interviews with actors and other people in the industry. I was able to get Sam Jones on for an interview the other day, and with luck I'll have more guests like that as we move forward.

All of this stuff is great, but the focus of the channel is and always will be movie criticism, so don't worry about me changing direction or anything. I just think its fun to have a range of content to keep things interesting.

But on the subject of livestreaming, I'm planning to host another exclusive members-only stream on Wednesday March 9th at 9pm GMT (4pm EST). As before, I'll bring in everyone who wants to talk to me, probably three or four at a time, and we can hang out for a couple of hours. Join me there, it'll be fun!

The other thing I want to do is start uploading essays and articles here, giving my thoughts and advice on writing, YouTube etc. People often ask me for advice on how to grow their YouTube channel for example, so I'll do my best to share my own experiences and see if I can help out.
