A quick progress update

Greetings, patrons and drinkers! I wanted to give you a quick update on my current projects, and my upcoming video release schedule. For my next video, I'm going a little cerebral by talking about flawed movie criticism - basically the way people try to deflect and dismiss legit criticism of films by talking about vague crap like 'deeper themes' and 'allegorical representation'. This is a subject that's been bugging me for a while now, and I wanted to air my thoughts on it. The audio is all recorded and the editing is currently underway, so expect to see it in the next day or two.

After that, I plan to do more movie and TV reviews over the next month. It'll be a mixture of positive and negative, old and new, as I want to have some decent balance. In no particular order, I plan to cover:

Killing Eve
Star Trek Beyond
The Boys
Men in Black International
Predator (comparing the 1980's classic to the crappy new one)
Why Captain Marvel is the worst hero in the MCU

I'd also like to drop in a few videogame reviews from time to time:

Metro Exodus
Resident Evil Revelations
The Witcher 3

I'd also like to do the occasional livestream. My first episode of Unhappy Hour seemed to go down well, though I'm quite aware that I didn't spend as much time on the comments as I would have liked. I'm thinking about doing an open Q&A stream where I'll do my best to answer as many questions as possible in the space of a couple of hours. Do let me know if this is something you'd be interested in.
