Project: Grimoire

Hey everyone!

I return momentarily from the void to check in and give an update! There will be a TLDR at the bottom!

Project: Grimoire

'What is in that banner?' you might be asking. So if you filled out my last survey or read one of the last couple updates - you probably already have an idea what I'm talking about.
Recently during my time off I started working on a book based around my work! The more I learn about this sort of thing, the more I realize how huge of an undertaking it is.

Here is what I can tell you all - the plan so far (subject to change):

• This project will be crowdfunded.
  
• It's going to be a 5e compatible book. The plan is for physical copies and PDFs.
  
• I'm planning to release miniatures with the book.
  
• My goal is to self-publish, which means it's going to cost quite a bit and I'll need to sell a lot of copies to bring this to life.
  
• It's going to be a bestiary (with lore, magic items and maybe character options). This will include content I've created over the years and more!
  
• I'm not working on this alone. Up until this point Comet Lord Miniatures has just been me other than setting up the presupports.
  The plan is to work with designers, editors, illustrators, etc. I want this to be a professional product with awesome art and interesting+fun mechanics.
  

Monthly Patreon/Tribes Release?

I'm still on break - I have not exactly had a relaxing time off. Pretty much as I started my break I moved... I still don't have a 'proper' office! I have no planned releases yet... but I will let you know when I plan to resume releases on here.

Mailing List

I'm trying to make sure I reach as many people as possible. This project will need a lot of support. There is a page on my website titled 'Project: Grimoire'. If you go there and sign up to the mailing list - I will only send one email when the crowdfunding campaign goes live. If you want updates on my store, it's a completely different mailing list / newsletter.
If you know anyone that may be interested in this sort of content, please share it with them. I think the greatest challenge for this project will be reaching enough people.
