I've painted Alistair to ring in the new year- he was my first game romance, and will always have a special spot in my heart. Dragon Age Origins got me through a lot, and as a huge introvert who has never had many friends, the companions in DA:O were really precious to me when I was a teenager. I would really like to paint my Warden with Alistair and Morrigan eventually, as they were my absolute everything back in the day haha.
I find that the bonds we make with the fictional characters we love are incredibly powerful, and I used to be rather embarrassed about it. The older I get, though, the less I care. Fictional characters are echoes of mythology and legend, which humans have held very dearly to them since the dawn of our species.
Don't ever be embarrassed for loving a character- the raw power that fiction holds is something to be revered for sure.
I think I'll probably be painting some OCs soon, I might put them up for a vote and introduce you guys. I'm incredibly nervous about it, but we will see. ♥
