"Marked for Death" Poll winner!
Added 2023-11-15 06:52:34 +0000 UTCHey there everyone, I've just finished up this piece based on the winner of the last poll! Astarion and Cazador.
I think that it's a tragedy that we didn't get this storyline more fleshed out in the game. I know that Astarion was already suffering from main character syndrome (not complaining!) but I think it's obvious that Cazador's plotline ended up rushed. His castle clearly was supposed to go in the Upper City, not to mention the fact that he has that entire mystery puzzle in the basement and the lore about his niece (I believe) left in snippets around the palace...
I would have loved to have gotten a proper dungeon in Cazador's place and to have gotten to know him better.
I don't think I've seen a single piece of fanart of Cazador yet, which surprises me! This piece kind of came to me out of nowhere, originally I wanted to illustrate the night Astarion was turned. However, I just really wanted to paint Astarion from the back and ended up with the idea of painting the night he was scarred instead. :(
I hope you guys like this piece, I know it's a bit of a darker one.
I wish you a lovely week, I have a lot more pieces planned soon, I'm going to take a little break from commissions before opening them up again after Thanksgiving! I am planning on taking as many as I can so if anyone is wanting to commission me as a Christmas present for someone (or themselves) I should have a couple of rounds of slots coming up for that. ♥
I also am going to be having a Black Friday sale on my prints the weekend after Thanksgiving, I'll announce more info about that here once I've got the dates finalized.
