Astarion: Eventuality
Added 2023-11-07 07:47:08 +0000 UTCA black and white piece for you guys! It's going to be part of a diptych type of thing with an accompanying Shadowheart piece.
The theme/inspiration is the concept of scrying, which if you don't know is a kind of divination done with a mirror in a dark room. (Sometimes a black mirror, hint hint haha) Both Astarion and Shadowheart have mirrors both literally and figuratively as major parts of their characters! And they are my favorites. ♥♥
I do not have this piece available as a print currently, because I am planning on doing something a little special with this piece and the companion piece I'm working on.
It's going to be quite a bit larger than my usual prints, and hand embellished. I'm really excited about it and I hope to be able to make a post showing you guys my plans!!
I really wanted this piece to feel like B&W portrait photography- I really love black and white stuff and had an itch to paint some.
