My BG3 character, Iiyola, drawing Astarion outside his tent. I had this image in my head so strongly after playing one night that I've been toiling over just how to capture it. It's now my desktop wallpaper- I've used Wallpaper Engine to add some dust and rays of light animating atop it and it looks pretty cool. :3
Do any of you use Wallpaper Engine? If I do more landscape oriented pieces, I could set them up and make them downloadable, I think? I can look into it if that's of interest.
The second picture there is a painting I did over a sketchbook I put together and weathered in order to have the book as a physical prop. I had so much fun doing a kind of multimedia art piece, you can see below what the picture looked like before I added the painted over bits:

There's a gemstone on the front and a lot of leather tooling/lacing on it as it's an old journal I had and kind of upcycled (by uh, beating it with a rock, dunking it in coffee, and burning it lmao) so I'd like to use the front as reference. Though I want to add some lore-friendly runes and such to the embossing.
I plan on taking the sketchbook out in different environments in order to capture different lighting and settings, and hopefully I can add some more bits and bobs poking out of it as I go along. Let me know if you have any ideas of what might be tucked into a half Drow/half Wood Elf sorcerer's journal. :P
I plan on posting a bit more here just on my thoughts/processes/cool things I find, so I hope that's not annoying! Please let me know what you'd like to see more of.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!!!
