This is a song about the Japanese concept of 生き甲斐 (or "ikigai"), which is a bit of a complex subject, but basically boils down to something like " a reason to live" or "a reason to get up in the morning", something that gives your life a feeling of meaning. A common interpretation of this is the idea of the four keys to ikigai. These are doing: "What you are good at, What you love, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for".
Frankly, I find that opinion bogus. It relies so much on life going perfectly for you to be truly happy, which I know for a fact isn't true. So, I wrote the lyrics to this song from my own perspective. This song is about the reasons I get up in the morning. The little joys in life, the things that we often take for granted or overlook when our focus is on ourselves. Sure my life isn't ideal, it can be crappy sometimes, but I still find things to be happy about despite that.
This song is about finding the little miracles hidden in the mundane, I hope that you can listen to this song, and start to notice those little miracles I notice too.
