0:00 - 0:44 // 2014 // The original vocal demo I recorded with The Lyde Octave, featuring the earliest lyrics I wrote. The song at this point was heavily inspired by Glaze and H8_Seed (2014)
0:44 - 4:50 // 2014 // Various sections and alternate versions of the instrumental created by The Lyde Octave while working on the track.
-The song was abandoned at the beginning of 2015 simply due to us not knowing where to take it. The concept remained abandoned for most of the year.-
4:50 - 9:18 // 2016 // The original "Part of the Swarm" vocal demo by myself, Freest, and SayMaxWell. Originally started at the beginning of 2015, it didn't take on it's identity as the successor to "Changeling" until a year later. This version was, like Lyde Octave's, also heavily inspired by Glaze's music. The instrumental used for this demo is from early 2015, though the vocals were recorded in 2016.
9:18 - 10:06 // 2017 // Alternate versions of the first verse produced by SayMaxWell. After Freest and I finished recording the track, Max wanted to separate it from the heavy Glaze influence and put more of his own style into the song. The instrumental we had used was also 2 years old at this point, so he wanted to come up with something new (2017)
