The lyrics aren't about any particular instance in my life. ジェリコasked me to write a break-up song for an album they were working on at the time and the theme was "toxic relationships". I can't say break up songs are something I can relate to all that well, at least when it comes to most modern break-up songs where the two parties just end up hating each other for dumb reasons :P So I basically winged it. I included some of my own thoughts and experiences with romance and break-ups, but it's not at all a song about myself. Originally ジェリコ was gonna sing it, but the duty was passed on to me after the album they were working on shifted gears.
The aforementioned break-up I HAVE been through actually went quite well, or as well as a break-up can go anyway (she and I remain good friends to this day), so I wanted to focus more on the happy memories or a relationship rather than the possible sourness that can come with loosing it... despite the fact that the theme was clearly "a toxic relationship", but bah XP
