The Touch - Explanation.

I really like some of these photos so I'm posting them eheh

So, first of all, you can see whatever you want in this film, there's not just one way to see it or understand it, that's was the whole point ^^

But if you want theory and what I thought the story was when creating here, let's go!

It's a dystopian world.

There aren't many humans left in this world because it is now almost impossible to procreate. They've tried for decades, done so many tests, and it just keeps getting worse. There are only a few people left who can have babies and it's still very difficult.

You need to find the perfect match and with that comes backup of lab processes.

Yoongi is one who of the few that can impregnate. And Jimin was one of the perfect partners for him. Yoongi couldn't bring himself to do this with anyone other than Jimin.

They were together before taking the test. But choosing Jimin also means making him lose his freedom, he doesn't know what is happening because he's in the simulation with Yoongi.

Only Yoongi knows it's a simulation and not the reality, he tries to keep Jimin safe but it's difficult because he can sense Jimin's fear and panic. Yoongi knew it would be hard, he knew he would have to lie to Jimin to not make him lose his mind.

He hates himself because he was the one who chose Jimin, because he couldn't spend years trying to make a baby with someone who wasn't him.

So it’s because of him that Jimin is here. And until they have a child, there is no going back. There is no night, there is only one timeless day. There is nothing real except their love.

Jimin keeps mentioning the sea. The last memory he had, was of him being with Yoongi at the beach, before falling asleep on the sand, the sound of the waves, soothing, making it harder to stay awake. As time passes, Jimin is forgetting the sea.
