Homage to Starcrash
Added 2021-06-29 09:17:19 +0000 UTCGillian's retro space babe persona "Starianna" has always been an homage to 70's & 80's B sci fi, and inspired primarily by the lovely Caroline Munro as "Stella Star" in 1979's "Starcrash".
That movie has a sort of Holy Grail classic quicksand scene, as it was scripted, and even filmed... but was cut from the final production. Only when a small clip and some promo pictures that came out around the release of the anniversary edition DVD, did we get to see at least a glimpse of what this scene would have given us.
So this is my homage to that long lost scene.

This is outstanding. The texture and detail looks great, right down to Gillian's muck-covered hand reaching out in desperation as she is about to submerge in the quicksand π₯°
