I just finished the “Vaults of Terra” series and I think Chris Wraight did an amazing job of making Terra feel like a horrible place in the 41st Millennium for regular people to live. I really think Chris is one of the best authors writing for the Black Library right now.

Well since you asked, I didn't enjoy Grim Repast. I didn't find the main character or the story particularly engaging. I didn't enjoy the short story "Exit Wound" either. I think that there was at least one other story primarily about that character that I may have given up on half way through. That still left me plenty of hard boiled Varangantua stories that I did enjoy though.

In a grimdark town there was a grimdark street, In a grimdark street there was a grimdark house, In a grimdark house there was a grimdark staircase, Down the grimdark staircase some heretics lived.

Which wasn't the 'most' of them?

As a northerner I feel Draj represented us well 🤣

I'm glad that you are covering the Varangantua books. I thoroughly enjoyed most of them.

My first thought has been "Since when do they make Vampire: The Mascarade videos?" XD
