I think we could all just use a good, goofy time right now so I've curated the choices accordingly.
My PICK THIS COMING SUNDAY'S IS....
1977 Surreal J-horror Comedy Classic "House"
One of my all time favorite movies. It has a unique blend of tones that all manage to enhance each other in unexpected ways. The comedy only making the horror feel crueler, the horror only making the comedy more absurd. The focus on heavy stylization effects over any attempt at realism is also just so fucking peak. Plus I'm an easy mark for a movie about girls in fucked up scary situations... kinda the loose theme for this month's first poll actually.
We'll be doing some Christmas movie nights (yes more than one, most likely) later this month!
Now it's up to you to help me decide on what to feature along side it!
