Hiatus Over, Here's the Plan for 2023

Rough News

The sad fact of the matter is that I'm not making enough money to survive with my current income stream, and things will likely become more expensive for me in the near future.

I haven't been on E in over a year because I've had to prioritize eating and keeping a roof over my head first. This has not been good more me mentally and has contributed to a lot of difficulties I've been having while working.

I have to do far too many commissions on top of my Patreon work and I'm still not making ends meet. The stress and workload are destroying my wrist and my enjoyment of creating. However, I have no plans to ever stop pursuing art. Instead, I'm going to have to change gears in some pretty big ways, and I'm going to need your support more than ever to make this work.

The Plan

Quite frankly I need to earn more and work less, a simple goal that everyone should strive for. At my current rate, I'm afraid of further injuring my wrist and thus my ability to work at all. Currently, the plan to make that happen involves a lot of restructuring and diversification in what I do.

• Pushing weekly YCHs, Specifically 2 a week, a more complex one and a simpler one
• Patreon discounts will apply and patrons will get first dibs
• I may even stream working on the YCH if that sounds interesting to y'all
• Creating and Selling stickers, prints and other merch
• Certain patron tiers will get merch discounts
• Using commissions to round out the remainder of my expenses
• might be next month or the month after before this gets rolling
• Most importantly pushing this Patreon more!!! (feedback welcome on how to improve the experience)

Twitch?

I'll be suspending my twitch streams for now, as they frankly bring in almost no income and take up a lot of time and effort for how little I get paid. I will eventually return to them when I am more financially stable because I enjoy them, and hopefully, by then I will have more time and energy to make them financially viable. When it does return it will likely be re-branded and reworked extensively. I do have big plans for the inevitable return.

In the meantime I will be uploading all the VODs I have to you tube unlisted, I'll give ya'll a link if you want to watch them!

Feedback

I'm open to any feedback or advice you have. This is still an untested plan and I'd be happy to hear any suggestions you have to improve it. I want to make sure everyone involved is happy with the situation to the best of my ability.

Conclusion

Everything will work out in the end, of that I'm sure. I just have to remain resourceful and willing to adapt as I go. The plan will likely change as it's implemented and issues arise but that's just par for the course.
