I want your input for StP v8!

Since I have to update the cookbook and recipes to include simple life cooking, I want to take this opportunity to get y’all’s feedback about everything StP related and add some of y’all’s suggestions!
Of course I have the requests post for recipes and things, but I want this post to be more specific to the actual cookbook!
Are there any interactions, features, etc you want for v8? Here’s what I’m thinking of adding:
- Ingredients req interactions (done ✅)
- Autonomus cooking interactions for each chapter
- Cooking together for each recipe or at least some chiile lmao
- Adding a vegetarian section
- Maaaaaaybe implementing ingredient crafting again
- Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe adding single servings but not for everything because some are stall recipes that your sim can’t cook :)
ETA because I have 🌳💨 brain and forgot to mention 😂😂😂
as far as recipe updates:
i think the smartest thing to do is update everything that hasn’t been released yet, that way I can still feed the people new goodies and the food will have the new changes already. Then I can focus on old stuff and really get my shit together especially with restaurant tags and prices bc some stuff isn’t where it’s supposed to be lmao.

2023-05-27 04:39:14 +0000 UTCI prefer not to use overrides because it can be a lot to manage, that 's why I don't use SS (too much). Maybe having override just available as an option for those who like them, if it's not too much work. I actually prefer just using EA ingredients because I also have other food mods. I currently use ONI and Somik & Severinka because I like to tailor my food to my Sims. I had those before I found you. But Sis, I'm from Detroit and my Mom was a Chef and was also very hands on. These recipes that you have created spoke directly to my heart and my childhood. I needed them because my Mom is passed on so this helps me because I play her in my game.

I can also do an override so the eggs and milk and all that is my individual ingredients, what do you think is better? Either way is one less object for me to make lol

For instance, I have chickens so I get eggs and milk from the cow, etc. and I don't want to have to use store bought when I have farm fresh for my Urban farmers. I'm so over the moon that you are doing this. I can't say that enough. Thanks again and again!
