SGR Sled Pull Distance Gauge
Added 2025-01-15 06:33:58 +0000 UTCHere's a little idea that was suggested to me, so I decided to put it together for you all! This will be free here, and it will also be my first upload to the Repository once it’s approved.
How it works:
As soon as the vehicle exceeds 1 mph, the system starts tracking distance.
If you come to a stop before reaching 10 feet (or 3 meters), the distance will automatically reset. This helps with staging the sled and eliminates the need for manually resetting the gauge.
Once you exceed 10 feet, the gauge will no longer reset and will assume you’ve started a full run.
After completing a run, when your average speed drops below 1 mph for more than 2 seconds, the distance will flash red three times and then lock in place (in red) until manually reset. This prevents additional distance from being added after unhooking from the sled. The red indicates that the run is over.
The unit button allows you to switch between feet/mph and meters/km/h for both distance and speed.
