2025-05-29 04:25:10 +0000 UTCThat was hilarious, and I need to check out the rest of their series. That car horn though… It was giving me PTSD flashbacks to my Jr High play. I was the stage crew manager and the sound and curtain people were out sick on our 2nd showing, so I had to cover for them while also doing stage lights and managing the rest of the crew. I was talking to someone else to get ready for the next scene when everything went silent. I looked over, the actors were waiting by a phone and the director/teacher was pointing at the sound board. I ran to it, looked for the phone label and hit the button on the line below it that played a UFO sound. The actor adlibbed it great until I hit the correct sound, while my teacher was hitting me over and over with the script. At the end of the play, the school usually had all cast and crew go out for a bow. The actors had to drag me out there while I tried to disappear into the curtain. I still own the production shirt from that play, now 20 years later... Every out of place car beep brought me back to that moment.
