Especially coming off the vanilla that is Johnathan and that's not a dig on him, he is perfectly fine and straight forward but every jojo after him has at least one screw loose in the best possible way. Oh and to be clear Erina didn't rise the girl someone else did but Erina stayed close with the family to make sure she was alright, so it isn't as weird as you think it is.
