I suppose they explain it next episode, but kaiba vs yugi is not about stars so the outcome doesnt affect the tournament. As a kid i didnt understand how yugi chose the correct door but now i think i get it, all the stuff about who says lies and who says the truth didnt matter, he just tricked them and they were dumb enough to fall for it
