Buu bits blind wouldn't be too fun for you imo as they have very little context, so without seeing the original Saga you can be left very lost. I know you have done a few recently, but you could do a poll for sarting from the Buu Saga or doing all of DBZ. imo do what feels right for you is the best call here, the full series can be a lot to tackle.

The three guys watched DBZA, one had watched all episodes up to that point and DBZ, one had watched DBZ but not DBZA and one was like you no DBZ or DBZA by the time DBZA was over he could participate and answer any question about DBZ that people could throw at him. So take of that what you will. My thought is watch the Otherworld arc (a filler arc that takes place between the end of Cell and the beginning of Buu HFIL has been referencing it) and the Buu arc and if you find yourself with too many questions stop and start at the beginning in DBZ. Also, FYI MasakoX (the VA for DBZA Goku and Gohan) along with Little Kuriboh (creator and VA for most of the voices in Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged) did a review with Doul Walker aka Nostalgia Critic on Dragonball Evolution if you want to watch something side related to DBZA.

2024-09-24 19:32:22 +0000 UTCCan just watch the buu saga. Then you can watch Dragonball Super, which picks up 10 monthsish after the Buu part of the story. Or stop, or go back and watch Z if you want, up to you. But Team 4 Star is good enough at parody, you kind of don't need to see the original. They basically made a slightly more comedic version of the original. With DBZ and hellsing anyway.

I was told that jumping blind into the Buu bits was a bad idea, and it was suggested that I watch the TotallyNotMark video to get some important context.

2024-09-23 23:08:34 +0000 UTCThe difference between TFS's video of the Buu Bits and TotallyNotMark's retrospective of the Buu Saga with TFS clips is that TFS added some alternate and expanded scenes to their copy. Also, Bojack was from the next movie which as Goku said in the Broly movie was going to be Gohan's movie next. It was called Bojack Unbound which TFS was going to tackle next however the fact that Bojack didn't talk much caused the script writing to be so horrible it caused burnout again and the destruction of DBZA The Buu saga except for the buu bits which TotallyNotMark asked for which gave TFS the chance to do some jokes that they wanted to do for that arc from before they even finished the series.
