2024-06-16 18:28:53 +0000 UTCStark had to break the chair to free Graf from it. It's off screen but you can hear him breaking it. The manga did a slightly better job of implying that the rope was tied to the middle spine of the back of the chair. The way Stark first tried to cut the rope in the anime suggested to me that he was trying to cut the rope between the spine and Graf's hands.
