So yeah like I said last episode the problem has been made clear its the getting out of it will be rough. Lawrence has accidentally in his and also Holo's overconfidence put himself in debt/bankrupted himself. Which in these times is so much worse then present day, if he can't pay it he'll basically have become a slave in order to pay it back. if you go back to that episode you can even see that the person he bought the armors from wasn't all that bothered when he asked it for basically half price, that should have been their first hint that something was up had they bothered to dig even a little this whole thing could have been easily avoidable, which I imagine is not helping Lawrence's mood it was a rookie mistake on his part. Not much else I can say given they did spell it most of what's going on this episode but can't help but feel for Lawrence here even when he lashed out at Holo, he obviously didn't mean it but the man is in a dark place rn and its one of his own making, he's entire life hangs in the balance. As for the woman thing I give my 2 cents in the reply to Louispul5, but tldr you weren't off the mark in that having Holo around is kind of like a symbol of status, her being there makes it look like he doesn't actually need to borrow money.

Maybe he needs to find out why the Northern campaign got canceled. They look at cute"business partner" and figure that's where the money went. (see Louispul5)
