2024-05-18 04:23:30 +0000 UTCJust to clear things up and add on to you guys and other viewers on exactly why Holo was mad and embarrassed this episode it was better explained/elaborated in the novel, you got the part of Holo wanting Lawrence to come save her in person in some shape or form. But the part the anime doesn't show you is since it was dark when they got her and had put a bag over her head so she couldn't see exactly who was saving her. She assumed that Lawrence was the one who was saving her during that moment. So it was heavily implied that she must've said or did something that only she would have wanted Lawrence to hear/see to some random dude (my guess is she hugged the guy and called out Lawrence's name)lol. She was angry & embarrassed at herself for realizing how silly she was being, acting like some schoolgirl waiting for her knight in shining armor basically. Still what we got was pretty good of course, it gets the message across that she wanted him to come personally, and Lawrance seemed to have got the message, either way she is truly grateful for him coming to save her one way or another obviously. On another note we have Yarei being made the villain and Holo getting told right to her face that she's no longer needed is heartbreaking but also freeing in a sense as Lawrence says she can now be truly free from obligation of that village Pasloe her journey can begin guilt free now.
