I know Alek had seen a lot of the show before, and he said that the VA for Asta does get more tolerable. He also gave me the Those You Protect book, so I'll be reading that as soon as I can be sure there won't be spoilers.

2024-05-02 01:29:15 +0000 UTCGlad to see you guys are enjoying early Black Clover as some who is reading the manga (which actually came back with new chapters this week after a long Hiatus) the anime adaption in the beginning isn't exactly the best because it pads out a lot of the beginning arcs that wasn't necessary and drags on in places. For whatever reason they handled the Black Clover anime the old school way and not bothering to spit it up into seasons and just kept going with no breaks until they catch up with the manga unlike what 99% of other anime do now in making it seasonal and take a 6 to 12 month breaks in the modern day Literally only One Piece is the last of the old guard that still does that. But as I'm sure you've been told it does get better if you stick too it. That includes Asta's VA as well from what I know it was his first major VA role and the first episode are kind of rough but he comes into his own as Asta down the line. Sorry if you heard this all before
