I missed the 1920's noir Batman. Everyone has Tommy guns and blimps, everything's dark, perfect for Batman. When they make the superman cartoon animators do both shows half way through, suddenly everyone has lasers and everything's brightly colored. Switched over to Gargoyles to keep the film noir going. Also all smoke grenades like tear gas are propelled into smoke by an explosion. Wendigoon explains the same thing in his Waco video.
