2024-04-01 17:30:38 +0000 UTCThe author of Overlord is a DnD Dungeon Master and when his group stopped playing he just spun off all the quests and locations he had made for his campaigns and kept augmenting them. From all his background lore he created and is still writing more novels of Overlord. He has stated he's wrapping up Overlord at volume 18 with that volume and volume 17 not yet in print (at least the first 16 are translated into English, I don't know what the status of 17 is at this time). I can only imagine what a bidding war would ensue if he announced he would be the Dungeon Master for a campaign.
